Do I have the right to trial by jury?
You do have a right to request a trial by jury. Make your request for jury trial to the Judge at the time of your arraignment or at least 10 days in advance of your trial date and your case will be set for jury trial in the Circuit Court level. There is a filing fee that is required by the Circuit Court and an application must be filed in order to transfer the case to the Circuit Court level.
