Due to the COVID-19 health threat, the lobby to City Hall is closed to the public until further notice.

If you are in need of building, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or other permits, please contact the Planning and Inspections Department at (573) 686-8615 by email irene@pbcity.org, or by fax at (573) 686-8605. All permit applications are available on the City of Poplar Bluff’s website or may be emailed. At this time, the Department is still conducting inspections that may be scheduled by contacting Tony or Irene at (573) 686-8615. Our inspectors will be practicing Social Distancing, remaining at least six feet from the public and no contact such as shaking hands. Completed permits may be submitted via email, by regular mail, or by fax.  

If you are in need of the City Collector’s office, please contact the Finance Department at (573) 686-8616, by email at tbaucom@pbcity.org, or by fax at (573) 686-8605. Please mail any payments that can be mailed to the City Collector’s Office at 501 Vine Street, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901.  If you are not able to mail payments or have questions regarding payments, please contact the City Collector at (573) 686-8616. 

If you are in need of Municipal Court, please call 573-686-8679 #5 for questions or to make a payment. If you come in person to Municipal Court, 501 Vine Street, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901, please ring the doorbell and someone will come to the door.
