Jerrica Fox-Lane was first appointed by the Council in August 2015 for the At-Large Ward and was re-elected in April 2016 for the remainder of a three year term. Jerrica was elected again to City Council as the representative for the 2nd Ward in April 2021 for a three year term. Ms. Fox-Lane is a fourth generation Poplar Bluffian and the second youngest Councilperson in City history. Her late grandmother, Brenda Fox, served as Butler County Collector for 16 years, earning a reputation for her honesty, hard work, and dedication to the taxpayers. Jerrica has picked up the mantle of public service and is committed to helping ensure Poplar Bluff remains a vibrant community that attracts industry and professionals. Fox-Lane is a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and is active in Saint Anne’s Society and serves on the Board of Directors for Altrusa International of Poplar Bluff. Ms. Fox-Lane received her Associates of Arts at Three Rivers College, and her Bachelors of Science in Finance and Banking from Arkansas State University. Fox-Lane was elected Mayor Pro Tem by the Council in April 2023.
