Separate sealed bids for Poplar Bluff Paving and Drainage Improvements will be received by the City Clerk at the office of the City Clerk at the Poplar Bluff City Hall until 10:00 o'clock A.M. Wednesday, February 8, 2023, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
The proposed project includes: The construction of new 6” asphalt pavement on Bradley, Abington, Clyde, East Center, Clare Streets, North Riverview Drive, and Marion Avenue along with associated drainage improvements in the City of Poplar Bluff. This bid is for materials only. The City of Poplar Bluff will complete the work.
The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the following:

Copies may be obtained at the office of the Engineer located at 114 N. Broadway, Poplar Bluff, Missouri upon payment of $25.00 for each set, non-refundable.
The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
Each bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3-DBE, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246. MBE and WBE, DBE and Section 3 bidders are encouraged to bid.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
